The California wetlands lives in a special place in my heart. Having lived adjacent to several marshes for close to 20 years, I have started to understand the rhythms and heartbeats which drive this fragile ecosystem. The project pictured below consists of photographs taken at the side-by-side wetland areas of Schollenberger Park and the Alman Marsh, which are nestled against the Petaluma River in the city of Petaluma, California. These images reflect the many personalities the wetlands exhibit throughout seasons wet and dry, warm and cold.
